Key features

The App detects the character encoding of a text file and converts it to UTF8.

Recursive batch conversion of entire folders containing files in mixed encodings: the encoding of each file will be detected and converted to UTF8, files already in UTF8 will not be converted.

Free and open source software.

Command-line version available for advanced users.
